Thankful
It was a lovely rainy afternoon yesterday
that I spent looking through the gorgeous pages
of a spectacular book about the flora and faunaof the tamaulipecan region of Mexico.
A birthday giftfrom my beautiful & dear friend Ana.

Ahhh, what a nice time you must have had in the pages of the book. I like readig on rainy days also.
I have whispered in the antennae of all the monarchs in my garden to give you my best wishes when they get to Mexico to escape the ice and snow of a good canadian winter. One day I would love to escape to a warmer place with them. I love rainy days, cuddling with edgar and arwen while reading and knitting at the same time.
