Collecting
Some of my treasured collections displayed in the studio.
Canvas tote bags (All of them from Bookhou except for the red bear paw from Small Batch Production), old cardboard boxes I've bought from several Etsy shops
& blue glass mason jars.
I can't wait to get my hands on the new Uppercase book:
Collection A Day by Lisa Congdon.

you should open a shop in san miguel and sell your art, manolo's furniture and bookhou:)
that would be amazing!!
I love your blog! Really inspiring. I absolutely love the blue color of that mason jar. Thanks! ~:D
What I find most fascinating is that you seem to own a lot of things but it all looks so lovely and neat!
Qué lindas tus bolsas y tus cajitas! También tengo algunas :)
Gracias por el dato del blog sobre colecciones, no lo conocía!
Cariños y que tengas un buen fin de semana!

What type of vintage boxes do you collect? My fiancé and I inherited all of his grandmother's things and we have many old boxes that once held sewing supplies, kitchen gadgets, beauty products, etc. I have no use for them and would be happy to contribute to your collection if they are something you're interested in :) Please let me know!

P.S. I deleted my original comment above to correct a typo.
Yay for Ball jars - made in Indiana! :)
thanks geninne
this put a big smile on my face
you are such a wonderful friend!
I am starting to collect blue mason jars
they are great for so many things.
Collections really make sense of 'stuff' don't they. They make you look at your stuff differently. Thanks for sharing more of your world. Lx (Ps. my husband just brought home a copy of issue 8 of Uppercase magazine- the people who printed Lisa Congdon's book?!! It's such an amazing publication. I'm feasting on inspiration tonight.)
Dear Geninne, the way you arrange things in your studio is a constant source of inspiration for me! Those mason jars are perfect - it's so much fun to discover them at flea markets :)
And did you make those magnets yourself?
Really beautiful images!
Your collections look so great! I love your bags!

Such great collections. It inspires me to do some collecting myself.
Oh my, that book is perfect for me. I can live vicariously since I have limited space for too much collecting.
Superlove there. I hope you have a chance to stop by my blog, since you showed a mason jar -- I went antiquing and got a really good shot of one with rocks in it.
All look so beautiful! Arounna's bags are the best, no?
I collect tote bags too! Just stumbled across your blog and am really enjoying it! I had to become a follower :)
I just discovered your blog via pinterest....lovely to discover!
Love how you display your tote bags. Mine are all shoved into a basket.
