I had forgotten my small winsor&newton watercolorbox.
I already have it, but I never use it......
It´s a pretty sad picture.

I have found that my watercolor cases wind up more interesting than the actual paintings I make with them. This is a great example of a beautiful case. ha ha.

That's is fabulous!! I started painting watercolors while I lived in Germany and all of my paint boxes look like that! I just love them. I think it's a shame they aren't more popular in the States.

Oh, se parece muchísimo a la caja de acuarelas que tengo de cuando mi madre era niña. No sé cómo será por fuera, pero el interior es idéntico. Quñe gran regalo! :)

Beautiful. I've never seen so many colours in one watercolour set before. Even the photo of the set looks amazing - you could frame it.

Great photo! I have about 8 or so boxes like this from my childhood & others inherited from my mother. Have you tried to see if it's possible to reactivate any of these paints?

I've a watercolor tray, very much just like this, that belonged to my mom in art school, some 55 years ago. The outside is red enamel, the inside, white enamel, with small white pots of paint that pull out, if you wish.

We still use it, often. I can't believe it's still going.

Enjoy!
