What lovely mementos! Mexican artisans must be very patient to produce such detailed and charming work. I once read that a family in Mexico City was renowned for dressing fleas! I don't know if that is true or not, but I always love imagining fleas in little brightly colored costumes. I'm sure you have had a wonderful time with your friends and it's great to share a little bit in your joy.

You all must be having so much fun! These goodies look amazing! So many beautiful colours! I have only been to Mexico once - - my fave part was a cemetery we went to which was a stark contrast to any I've been to here in Canada. It was so full of colour and character and tribute to the lives of all of those people. So amazing!
